The gorgeous Zooey Deschanel is one of this years Pantene Ambassador's and is a huge supporter of the program. In the two videos below, Zooey speaks about her involvement with Pantene Beautiful Lengths and how you can make a difference.

Read below about how Salons can get involved with this amazing program!

Tuesday, October 8th 2013 marked the launch of the Pantene Beautiful Lengths Salon Supporter Program in Australia. The program encourages salons across the country to show their support to women with cancer by collecting ponytails from people in their local area who wish to donate their hair.

Salon Supporter Program gives Australian salons the chance to be a part of the Pantene Beautiful Lengths programs and win the chance for a stylist to attend an international Vidal Sassoon Training Academy.

Salons can register to support the campaign by visiting the Pantene Beautiful Lengths website. When you register you will receive a Salon Supporter Pack which includes information on the program and items to help raise awareness of the campaign in your salon. Your salon will also feature in the salon locator tool enabling thousands of women who wish to donate find a participating salon in their area.

Salon owners and hairstylists understand how important hair is to women. Healthy hair can make us feel beautiful and losing it through vital cancer treatment can be devastating. With the Pantene Beautiful Lengths program, Pantene is committed to helping women regain their confidence with real-hair wigs.

To thank salons across Australia for their support, Pantene is offering a prize of an international Vidal Sassoon Academy training experience to one staff member from the salon that collects the most ponytails.

Barney Martin, owner of Barney Martin Hairdressing in Surry Hills, Sydney, and Pantene ambassador comments:
“I’m supporting the Pantene Beautiful Lengths program by accepting ponytail donations at my salon and sending them to Pantene to turn into beautiful real-hair wigs for women undergoing cancer treatment, and you can get involved too. As salon owners, we are in a position to help make a difference. I call you on you to register your salon today and get on board with Pantene Beautiful Lengths and start collecting ponytails!”
